Well I don't tend to do things by halves, so my first 'extended/double tier' cake is an 8" cube for some great friends joint 30th birthday on Saturday night.  Dark Choc mud for her, and choc mint mud for him, the best of both worlds all in one cake.

Its going to be an interesting challenge, and I'm really looking forward to making it.

As well as that we have my little girls 2nd birthday.  As well as the Hoot cake I made for her on the weekend, we have her real birthday on Wednesday, and Im planning on a Ladybug cake for her little family dinner on Wednesday night.  For a change I am going with carrot cake for this one with a white chocolate ganache under the icing.

So lots of caking for me this week, in all about 12-15 hours for 2 cakes :o!!
